What this is:

Images of the directional survey packages operators file for deviated and horizontal wells — the surveys that establish where a lateral actually went.

How it is laid out:

The Railroad Commission publishes this as PDF / TIFF images. Scanned images. There is no machine-readable data inside. We mirror the Commission's file exactly as they published it, byte for byte. We have not decoded this one into a table yet, so reading it needs the right tooling.

What we add:

PDF images with no text layer. The survey stations inside them are not machine-readable without OCR. There will be no decoded version of this.
