Get the data

Free. You will be asked to confirm an email address before the files are built — that is the only gate, and it is there so we can tell you when a large export is ready.

What this is

Images of the directional survey packages operators file for deviated and horizontal wells — the surveys that establish where a lateral actually went.

What you can do with it

Recover the true path of a horizontal wellbore, which no structured RRC file publishes.

Gotchas

PDF images with no text layer. The survey stations inside them are not machine-readable without OCR.

There will be no decoded version of this. It is not a file format waiting for a reader -- it is pictures of paper, and the only ways to get fields out of it are a person reading them or an OCR pass whose output would be guesses this site will not present as data. What EZRRC adds here is the mirror itself: the Commission's own images, addressable and durable.
