What this is

OGA0861. A 200-byte record per gas well per month carrying the disposition breakdown from the production report: lease and field fuel, transmission line, processing plant, vented or flared, gas lift, pressure maintenance, carbon black, underground storage and extraction loss.

It is the gas-side companion to the PDQ disposition table, from the Commission's older reporting system.

What you can do with it

Measure gas flaring and venting at well level from the operator's own monthly filing, and see how much gas went to a processing plant rather than a pipeline.

Gotchas

This is the gas-system file, gsf102. RRC's folder also holds olf102, the oil-system file: casinghead-gas disposition for oil leases, laid out in the same OGA0861 manual under its own record layout, 47,847 records to gsf102's 90,986 in the Commission's own record counts. Upstream neither fetches nor parses olf102 yet, so casinghead gas from oil leases is in neither this table nor the archive here; the Commission's folder, linked below, has it.

The balancing, discrepancy and invalid-or-omitted codes flag filings that did not reconcile. Ignoring them treats a rejected filing as fact.
